What do you do when you have reached your stress limit in the classroom?

I used to take a break from the room. I would tell my aide I was getting a drink of water and the walk to the water fountain and back was usually enough. If I didn't have an aide (and I often didn't), I would mandate a whole-class break. I'd turn off the lights, put on some classical music, and we would all sit silently for 5 minutes. It helped a lot!
