What do you do when you must transition a student to another teacher's classroom, such as at the end of the school year or if they are just switching rooms, but you have concern's about the other teacher? It could be that you have different teaching styles, or that you think the other teacher is inexperienced, or something else. How do you support the student? How do you make for a smooth transition?

This is a really difficult question. I think you have to be as interactive and supportive as possible. Check in with the new teacher frequently. Offer advice and support. But, also, at some level you just have to let them take over in their own style. Unless you suspect there is a risk to the student, where you might have to involve others, of course.
