Any tips for dealing with intrusiveness when students ask you about your personal life? What do you share with them and what is off limits (and how do you keep it that way?)

I tried to keep very clear boundaries with my students. If I had a picture posted in my classroom I would answer limited questions, of course (my students all knew my cat's name), but I didn't bring up much from my personal life and really limited what I would answer. I wasn't shy about saying "That's private," which is appropriate and can lead to good conversations about boundaries.
