How do you plan more than one day in advance? How can you know how far your students will get in a subject, so how can you know what you'll be doing days, weeks or months from now?

I would make flexible plans, so that it was OK if we got behind a little. To that end, I would build in lots of enrichment at the end, extension activities that might be fun and educational, but not necessarily necessary to the understanding of the key material.
What about everyone else?
